Speed and Agility Drop in Training

Butler United Soccer Club offers Speed and Agility specific training sessions for current BUSC players only throughout the year.  Registration is not required, but allows us to better predict participation numbers and communicate directly with those planning to attend.  These sessions are currently included at no additional cost and only BUSC players can attend.

 

Location: Vandalia Recreation Center North End

Speed and Agility Training is led by Caleb Norton

 

 

Professional:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy
    • Physical Therapist for Athletico at the Wright State location
    • Graduate school: University of Dayton (2020)
    • Undergraduate degree: Otterbein University (2017)
    • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) certified
    • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified
    • ACL 3P certified
    • 1 year of leading speed and agility training

Athletic background:

  • 4 years baseball at Otterbein University
    • 2 time all OAC baseball team
    • 1st in career saves and single season saves in school history
  • 1 year soccer at Otterbein University
  • 2017 Cosida 1st team Academic All American
  • 4 years of varsity soccer and baseball
  • 1 year of varsity football

Goals and Aspirations:

  • Teach athletes of the future how to move efficiently and effortlessly. Provide a base knowledge of how to move quicker. Allow athletes to train in an enjoyable way to allow for injury prevention and improve on field performance with improved quickness and power.
